UCST possesses a good sports facility on campus for outdoor and indoor sports, like badminton, basketball, vollyball, cricket pitch for net practice, etc. Indoor games are also available like chess, carom, and table tennis. The students are encouraged to participate in various sports. They have made us proud with their achievements. The students are sponsored to various inter college sports/ cultural/ literary activities.
UCST provides safe transport for students, with a supervised pick up and dispersal. Safety and added comfort, both are the prime concerns of UCST. To bestow with the same, the fleet of college buses provide pick and drop facility to students coming from within a radial distance of 20Kms. All computer labs are connected with 24 hr. Internet facility with dedicated 150 mbps 1:1 bandwidth. UCST provides its students with the opportunity to remain connected to the outside world with its unified wireless communication network spread throughout the campus. With Access Points providing smooth wireless Internet connectivity, the campus is one of the most advanced technical campuses.

UCST Surveillance is intended to ensure the safety and security of the students, staff and visitors. Entire campus including hostels, parking, and the academic areas are secured by 24*7 operating CCTV cameras. The cameras have been installed at strategic places to keep a close vigil on the movement of all types of suspicious behaviour and unauthorized access in the campus. In addition, the campus is also monitored by guards outsourced using security agencies.

UCST has OAT for student activity
The International Language in English. The scientific base cannot be strengthened without it as it is spoken and written world over.
The experience tells that the students opting higher educational programme are not well versed in English Speaking Language in India.
The nearly all the scientific reporting is done in this language internationally and nationally. All the students must have a strong hold or grasp on this language otherwise the future prospects of the students without a grasp of this language ate likely to be very dull. The students as our experience guides us, lack the basics of the language including expression, writing and speaking. The students need to be trained or groomed ob these lines to enable them o express, write and speak well with English Language a s a base. This programme is likely to dilute the ill-effects of Inferiority Complex among the students, leading to well molded Personality Development, the need of the parents and society.
The programme shall include the regular classes by the expert teachers at the campus.

In order to promote the causes of the campus, all the Alumini of the institute are provided the information on the development of the campus to enable them to keep pace and stay pace on the educational, developmental, ethical, moral and personality development programmes of the campus.
In order to make the above programme more effective and sustainable, An ALUMINI ASSOCIATION is being formed at the campus inviting the participation of all who have passed out from this campus. The ALUMINI Director is also under preparation.

The institute runs a scientific journal, INDIAN JOURNAL OF PHYSICAL AND NATURAL SCIENCES, being indexed in chemical abstracts, biological abstracts, internationally to help the students to develop the scientific flair to help society meet its cause, needs and demands on human, scientific and economic plane(s). Additionally this is a platform where the students can get their work (Dissertation/summer training programmes(s) after necessary vetting by experts) published even at the post graduate levels. On this front, the expert guidance is also given to the students to ready the format for scientific publication in the journal - a rare combination of teaching and research.
The provision of placement assistance to the students is a part of the educational programme at the campus. The students are helped stay informed upon the availability of the openings, and the positions at different levels as per their qualification.
The inputs on the information reaching the CELL are notified on the notice board well in advance giving sufficient time to the students for preparation for interview(s). The updating of information is a continuous process at the campus.
