B.Sc. MRIT is a 3-year academic program followed by a 6-month compulsory internship. It trains students in diagnostic imaging techniques such as X-ray, CT, MRI, and Ultrasound.

Key Highlights:

  • Duration: 3 Years + 6 Months Internship

  • Eligibility: 10+2 (Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Maths, English), Minimum age 17 years

  • Medium of Instruction: English

  • Attendance: Minimum 80% required

Curriculum (Phases):

  • Year 1: Anatomy, Physiology, Basic & Radiation Physics, Intro to Radiology

  • Year 2: Radiographic Techniques, Radiation Protection, CT & MRI Basics

  • Year 3: Clinical Sciences, Radiotherapy, Interventional Imaging, Patient Care

Exams & Passing Rules:

  • Theory: 30% Internal + 70% University

  • Passing: 40% per subject & 50% overall

  • Distinction: ≥75% in first attempt

Internship (6 months):

  • Hands-on training in X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Radiotherapy at ≥150-bed hospitals

  • Internship Certificate → B.Sc. (MRIT) degree awarded
