Dr S.S. Sawhney, M.Sc., Ph.D - a postgraduate (Chemistry) of University of Roorkee (now IIT, Roorkee), and an academician and educationist of repute, has carned a name for himself in the field of education and research and development programme(s). He has supervised and guided more than 30 Ph.D theses, and published about 100 research publications in National and International research journals. Dr Sawhney is increasingly engaged in research and development programmes as diverse as medicine, pharmacy and biotechnology and microbiology etc.
Dr. Sawhney is a Patentee, an inventor and discoverer of new analytical reagents, pH- Indicator(s) and a developer of new mathematical treatments which have contributed to the resolution of the determination of densities of the binary mixtures, and solids (organics or salts etc).
